Mentoring
Creative mentoring for musicians and corporate professionals
A turning point
COVID-19 has brought us to a time where innovative creative solutions are needed more than ever to build a sustainable future.
This crisis presents a turning point for the creative industries and for artists, in particular, to look at diversifying their careers in order to build new income streams, to take the pressure of the monthly outgoings, and give you more time and freedom to pursue your career.
Perhaps you’re bubbling with ideas that need distilling, or you have a great concept but don't know how to bring it to life. Maybe you’re questioning your purpose or you're having a creative block, or maybe you just need a sounding board.
I'm hear to listen, to help you structure your thoughts, and to provide strategy and action points to get you onto a new path.
After 15 years successfully navigating a portfolio career across the arts and business I will open up my network for you, where relevant, and help you to define what it is you can focus on with tangible action points to take away.
I have enjoyed mentoring musicians as a Creative Careers Centre consultant at the Royal College of Music, young people at WOW Festival.
I also took part in a co-mentoring programme with the Culture Mile in the City of London and was partnered with UK Business Mentor of the Year Christine Nicholson.
“Ultimately, working on these sessions with Tessa has made my thinking fundamentally change. I feel like I have awakened my right brain and connected it with my left brain. I am open to risk-taking and hear my client in a new way and as a result of that I generated £40,000 worth of new work that I can directly link back to working with Tessa.”
